The Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Redding Program was started in 2021 with 12 initial veterans attending the first meeting. Our program has grown to currently benefit approximately 38 participants in their physical and emotional recovery and healing through fly fishing and its associated activities. The program works in partnership with the Shasta Trinity Fly Fishers (STFF), the local fly fishing club that provides volunteers and meeting space for the Redding program as well as with the local VA Northern California Health Care System.
