This traveling exhibition from the National Museum of the Marine Corps sponsored by the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation features 36 works from the museum’s art collection located at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. The collection comprises over 9,000 works. They tell the visual story of the United States Marine Corps as seen through the eyes of the artists. It has, as its foundation, works created by Marine combat artists who documented their own experiences in times of war and peace.
