This presentation is appropriate for those considering Autosomal DNA testing and those who have tested. The presentation is designed for individuals considering a direct to consumer (DTC) kit and to help those who have taken the Ancestry DNA (or other DNA) test and do not understand the results. You will learn of individuals who discovered unexpected information about their family (new half siblings, cousins, etc).

For those who want to test but are concerned about family stories ???, we will discuss the questions you should consider. DNA testing has helped many and frustrated others. We will identify testing labs and explain the costs and benefits of testing. You will find that Autosomal DNA testing can help YOU find distant relatives.
